    How close is Glencairn to Brodick Village? Glencairn is just a 6 minute walk or 2 min drive to Brodick Village

    How far is the ferry terminal? Brodick ferry terminal is approximately 1.5 miles away, about a 5 min drive or 15 min walk

    How do I get to the Isle of Arran? CalMac ferries run regularly from Troon or Ardrossan on the mainland to Brodick. The crossing takes approximately 55 minutes. Book in advance at calmac.co.uk

    Do I need a car on Arran? Glencairn is very near the ferry terminal and village so many of our guests come car free. Local buses operate, and bikes can be hired in Brodick

    The Isle of Arran offers exceptional wildlife viewing, with opportunities to see Scotland's ‘Big Five’ - golden eagles, red deer, red squirrels, otters and seals. Thanks to the absence of key predators like foxes and grey squirrels, Arran's native wildlife populations thrive
